Branding & Website Design
Marco, founder of Data Science with Marco, had created an online education business where he was starting to see some success. However, he felt that he didn't have a clear brand, just a simple logo that wasn't taking him where he needed to be. He saw the potential to grow his business but lacked the tools and time to create assets that would convey his passion and expertise to new students. With new online courses in the works, he knew it was time to give his business the attention it deserved and invest in creating a real brand and complete website.​

My mandate was to refresh his logo, create a clear brand strategy and design a website to host his online courses and blogs, as well as showcase his expertise as an educator, author, and data scientist.

The Process
Using what Marco had as a starting point, we reviewed his mission, goals, and long-term vision for his business. We wanted to position him as the leading expert in time series forecasting, an important branch of data science. After a strategy session, market research and brainstorming, we highlighted the business's main priorities and differentiators. We wanted the brand to reflect the knowledge and experience of the educator, an action-driven hands-on learning approach, a high quality education, with a touch of nerdiness.

This direction guided me towards creating a new visual identity and assets that reflected these qualities through a unique and timeless design.​​​​
